Prayer Requests

Taking prayer requests is a ministry that requires time and training that I do not have as part of Episcopal Prayers for Sharing on Facebook and Twitter, but there are several organizations and individuals in the Episcopal Church who do take prayer requests.

The Episcopal Church Prayer Wall - this online prayer wall is open for submissions and is moderated.

The Forward Movement – “The staff of Forward Movement gathers each work day at 10:00 a.m. for prayer, and we will offer this intention at our next gathering for prayer. ” The Forward Movement is a ministry of the Episcopal Church.

Bishop Steven Charleston - offers a daily meditation to his online Facebook community every morning and takes prayer requests from friends in the community on Saturdays.

Walk With Me On Our Journey - Sara Lee MacDonald, deacon in training and member of  Daughters of the King, takes an evening prayer walk every day and takes prayer requests.  You can submit requests through her facebook page or Twitter.

#PrayerChat every Saturday morning at 10am on Twitter - Prayer chat is hosted by Susan, Assistant to the Vicar at St. Richard’s of Chichester Episcopal Church of Lake Arrowhead. You can follow Susan (@WildernessSusan) and @Prayer_Chat on twitter to stay connected.

Kyrie Eleison DOK - this is a blog by the Kyrie Eleison chapter of Daughters of the King at St. Mary’s Episcopal Church in Middlesboro, Kentucky.  You can submit requests through the blog and also follow them on Twitter (@KyrieEleisonDOK )
